Patterns

For several weeks,  our class has been learning about patterns in Math Investigations.  We have used several different materials to show patterns including: our bodies, paper, and manipulatives.  On this day, we told students they were allowed to use anything in the room to make a pattern.  Our smart Kindergarteners discovered they could make patterns with a lot of different things!

These students made a AABC pattern by using shape blocks.

These students used cubes to make their patterns.

This student used crayons to make an AB pattern.

These boys made an AB pattern with leaves.
